Chantel (Guadeloupe, Age 15): English 684

Hey my name is Chantal,im 15 year old .My mom lived in the united states  she say the 21 december2013 i will com to meet a ,im the younger child in my family  .I living with my grandmother and my two oncle we living in a big house in Guadeloupe the name of the where i living his Residence Boissard door 13 Boissard .Every  morning i’m going to school at 7:00 AM alle my friend waiting for me ,the names of my friends is July,Naima,Gustave we all going to school together. The names of my grand-mother is Meddine and my two names is Jonas and Georges i have other  uncle but Jonas and Georges living with me.Guadeloupe is not a very big country  but many people coming and living in Guadeloupe the most people we can see is black people .Every sunday we have canival we have many groupe the names of the groupe of carnival is : Akiyo,Nation a neg marron,Mass akle,le point and many many other groupe of carnival.

Im helping my grand-mother to cook to clean he she need help she calling me.My grand-mother she not a all woman she is very young she only 47 years old anywhere ,in my shool the teacher is very scritt anything you do the calling your parents if you do something like talking with your friend or play with your phone .we  have a smal book and the teacher writing everthing you do the name of the bok is book match they wrinting how you beaving in class and you have to show your parent and the have to signe .The shool is not a big shool but there is many student in my shool we have a uniform:jean and a gray shirt,in my shool we are agrouoe of girls the name of the group is waap#waap#otg.This is not a gang but a group of girls every time we together for party,carnival all the girls was just like my sisters .In my country we don’t have snow we only have sun and rain .

In my country people making good food the food taste good the most popular food in my country is rice red dots meat and ,and the Haitian  people making good food to like banana and meat and salad french people like to eat this food me to every friday after noon i was going to by this food .But many people eat Mcdonalds eating this and they become fat every time we making party we makin pancake and chocolate or ice cream we always have party and the beach and music.Many write peoples  come to visit guadeloupe they like to go to the beach they must favorite place to go is St-anne is a very nice and big beach they like to take picture In the beach the sale sweet think like lollipop ,chocolate,ice cream.

My mom decide i have to come to New York school to learn to speak english and to do better in school .When i told my friend i have to go they was very sad my family  to was very sad ,i was very sad to live my grandmother and my friend the night before i go i spend the time with my best friend and my family.They give me my give for Christmas because i would not be here this was the 20 december 2013 ,i open my give i got make-up dress shoes,I go to sleep because i have to live the morning to take the plane ,when i wake up i eat i take a shower i dress my bag was already done i tell my grand-mother bye i was sad she was sad to but i was happy to go to  America to see my mother. .My aunt bring me in the airport ,i take the plane me alone Guadeloupe to St martin,My uncle com get me then we got eat i visit St martin for 1hours then he bring me back to the airport   because i have to take the plane again to go to New York

When i rich in the airport i was very scary to take the plane for 7 hour ,i sleep for all the travel then we rich to America i was so happy the my mother scream when she see me she was happy me too. I was making very cold we take the taxi for 2 hour

,when we richt  home i call my grand-mother to told  a i’m sav and a message my friend then i eat take a shower .

When i wake up my mom say my let go to visit we go to Time square this was amazing and very big this was the first  time i take the train then we go to Manhattan i by many thing .I was very tired so we go home i watch tv play in my phone ,then my mom say we have to find a school she choose IHSL  this many you can see many different  religion different   country

 like chinese ,haïtiene,Arabic,,Pakistan, Uzbekistan The morning when We go to list  School Mr Carlos explain my mother  what  Will happen, my mom sign the paper everything the Mr Carlos say i can begin  the Tuesday  i don’t remember the date.i was very scary about COM in a new School.

   The School is very big And Nice ,i was scary because when i COM i have ni friend nothing ! The teacher was very Nice ! The lunch room was very big imams Manu students, We stard School ta 9:20 AM To 3:45am .The teacher is very help full my english teacher And she like To help, explain everything .But i dont like this School because all my friend in my country  Ani Missing my familly .
