Hello my name is Jake.I am from Uzbekistan. It was summer July afternoon my family had meeting. There were my father, mother, uncle and grandparents. I was listening behind the door. Before the meeting my parents always arguing and fighting. Then they decided to separate because my father had another women in Russia. That time I was 12 and had 2 sisters. My father left to Russia it was hard time for us, my mother had to work day and night. I had to watch my sisters.
After a month I was outside playing soccer on field with my friends, then my mother came and told me that we are moving to United States. After that day my mother called a tutor for me and my sister for teaching us English. I skipped many classes because I had many friends to play with. My mother and aunt had to go to fix our documents it was really important for us.
It was August one month were left for us to move to United States, I spend most of my time with friends and relatives. I did not wanted to leave my country I still want to go there. Weeks passed by it was last day in my country, all my relatives came again to see us for last time, I cried to my grandpa because he was best grandpa you could have.
We came to United States, New York City got out off airport we had to wait for my mothers friend to pick us. I was excited to see where we live, driver took us to our apartment. It was really hard for us without my father, my mother cried every night because she could not find a better job. I had to take my sisters to library because we had no computer at home. September came school started I skipped 7th grade because of my age. First day of school was rough for me cause i did not had friends and I was new to English. My first teacher was Ms.Lewis in here she was awesome.
Middle school was not good for me I got bullied sometimes because of my country and my language. High school was much better for me I had best moments in there. I met my best friend John at high school we are still friends. I am at high school now 10th grade last year i failed my class because i was in country for whole year.
I think United States is better for me but i still miss my friends and my relatives.

ReplyDeleteI like how you explain how you passed your summer but i think you need to add more details about new york about sensory details of the new city and talk more about yourself i wanna know your personality. i wanna know your feelings how you felt for your parents.
