Josue (Guatemala, Age 17): English 031

Hello my name is Josue man got the age of 17 my country is Guatemala and trek to New York 5 months ago.

   In my country I lived with my mom and my brother and my two sisters and I was the smallest of all my brothers I never thought to come in united states  i thought in my studies  was in the 5th grade got good grades and went honor roll my mom supported me in my studies because I got good grades and that was when I was earning my degrees and comes in ninth grade and I did not continue because they no longer had potato money no longer pays to pay my tuition because I and had no one to ask for more money just tapeworms my brothers I could not ask for more money to them because they need to work and save for their future and that was to take the decision to come for the United States and we think with them I want to immigrate to the United States talked to my mom but we don’t have all money  because we had no savings and so much was left after talking to the person who brought with me here in the United States.

When I left  Guatemala was a day Thursday I left out with all the foward  to come and live in the US I had to say goodbye to my mother and my brothers and I went passed the border of Guatemala  to Mexico  I was very happy with the desert to cross all so good free way without knowing anything about the migration and so was reached at Tuxtla Gutierrez of Mexico and spent 5 days there because there was no step guide told us there is no step we have to wait a while longer to get through because the migrations are controlling well the roads and we had to respect and that was us as young people went to buy food because there was nothing in the house where we were to leave for 5 days after we left there we went on a bus going to the city of Mexico we jumped on the bus walked 48 hours in the bus when we arrived in the city of mexico there we were closed for three days we were feeding 3 times a day I get the 2 days we went there we had to get into sound Altar Mexico we're almost to enter the desert arrived there at 3am and got some blankets for everyone and we slept four hours later we woke we had breakfast and got us to bathe and stayed there for 2 days and a half and even there I got a call to communicate with my brother who is in charge of me and told me to talk to him as I am and where I was and it was that time …

After pass in there and took us into the desert and went to stand there half desert and there were 7 days so walking all day but I was sad because I felt he no longer had much strength to walk and my companions said we have to get so spent the day with much suffering and with many hungry and when it came migrations helicopters us not hiding under the trees that are in the desert did not care if there thorn or not because we wanted is that not look at us after days passed almost could not walk much a day because there was very hot and we were tired from walking and we did not have much food because the food we got is only 3 days and we walked seven days and had to eat less because the guide told us that we need much to get but do not worry. I will not fail as well as promised and I will do so tells us not to worry but the day came that no one of us was like walking enduring at 5 in the afternoon and we were to rest there all day next night out at 4am when we spent 8 hours walking around in the desert and we did it all,when we are waiting for the car to get us there then says guide the car takes 15 minutes because migration is watching and can not come to us to bring but the time came that migration saw us in the chambers we went to see and started us looking for us they were very quick to find us [because we we hide under palms and saw us because three helicopters came looking for us and we grabbed and taken to the detention of emigration …

When entering immigration detention they removed the tapes of my shoes and I took off my sweater and asked me how old I have if I am already an adult or am a minor and I said I am a minor and I got to minors age and I were to get there I took my fingerprints I asked all my information where I am and the reason why I'm Crusando the US border illegally then contacted my brother to tell him that I'm already in detention and put me in hieleria as punishment because I'm breaking the law to cross the border and so was spent 3 days in detention and arrived three days I was informed that I have to go out there and take me to a safer place and let me take out I was taken there after the 11 pm so it was ...

Arrive in a hostel phoenix arizona where all the children who are crossing the border and migration of an grasped and fed me get there I took information back and I had all worn many times there and the next day took me to school English classes got me and I got a doctor who takes care of me my health because there have to be healthy without any disease and was then told that I have to find a worker who has to work for my case to reunite with my brother and I got a my counselor told me that if I was just taking me talk to her and she encouraged me a lot about what I wanted to do she gave me yarn to make bracelet so I do not feel sad and share with my colleagues that we are me there was given a bed within that I have to pass the time and every morning lifted us and they fed then let us watch TV for an hour and then take us to school and so step time I was there for 1 month and 18 days after this all settled I called to sign a lot of papers on my departure and next day I went out from there ...

Out there at 4 am and arrived here in brooklyn new york at 2 in the afternoon came on the plane alone and my brother was there waiting for me at the airport and date and sign some papers down because I still stay in the fourth floor down to the first floor after I start to get my brother and I saw him I felt very happy because it fulfilled my dream to get here where I always want to be and took me to the house of fed and; the evening came my other brothers and celebrate my arrival here in brooklyn new york city and 2 days came to High  School because I need to learn English and so we can have a better future and so was now am living with my brother and me is supporting in my study encourages me is smart in meetings because he wants me to do something in my life and that was my story that arrives here as in the United States…
